Bay Eclipse aka Harper is a beautiful 12 yr. old, 15.2 hh, Bay, TB Mare, who has recently competed in the 2020 Southeast Medal Finals ending up “0.85 Jumper Finals Champion” in the 0.85 jumpers finals division out of 33 riders.
Harper is currently being ridden by a junior and showing confidently in 0.85 – 0.90 Jumpers, and has just recently been moved up to 0.95m. Harper is currently schooling 3’3 – 3’6 at home and has promising potential for 1. 10 and higher with the right training and consistent work in the right direction. Harper has competed anywhere from local schooling shows to rated shows in both Jumpers and Equitation. She has also done an eventing show at tadpole level, but has been schooled up to Training on XC. Has shown at Grand Oaks, Silver Sands, Majestic Oaks, Rocking Horse, Wickham park, Bob Thomas Equestrian Center, etc.
Harper has a great temperament and never has any unexpected outbursts, but can get forward and strong, so will need a soft and balanced rider. Would best suit a competitive and confident Junior or amatuer rider that wants to learn and can handle a forward, sensitive horse. Harper is the type of horse that will let you know if you aren’t riding properly and will force you to adjust to her for a good ride, which is why she is such an amazing teacher.
Would make an amazing Eventing horse with consistent, proper training and patience. Would also make a good Barrel Racing prospect with how compact, moveable and fast she is.
